Physiotherapy Home Visits

Bringing First Class Treatment To You

Our team of specialists are happy to provide physiotherapy at home in Hertfordshire to those living within the AL1, AL2, AL3, AL4, AL5 and LU1 post code areas. Our clinic and treatment rooms are upstairs on the first floor; if you or a family member are unable to come to the clinic or would just prefer to be seen at home, we can come to you.

We can assess and commence treatment plans for you at home for most musculoskeletal conditions, pre and post orthopaedic surgery, sports injuries, neurological and paediatric conditions and we are also able to bring all the necessary equipment to ensure a complete and comprehensive assessment and treatment programme.

Many of our post-operative clients choose to begin their sessions with us at home and then continue this treatment plan at the clinic when they are feeling ready to do so.

About Our Expert Team

One on our team members, Emily Firmin, is the lead physiotherapist for our home physio in Hertfordshire visits service. Some of her previous roles within the NHS have included working within community environments and she brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to this role. She first qualified in 2005 from the University of Brighton and initially worked at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals completing various rotations including musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, respiratory and neuro-rehab.

Emily then moved to the community in North London where she gained extensive knowledge of falls prevention, balance and vestibular problems. Emily attends forums and community groups giving talks on Falls Prevention and runs an NHS Falls Prevention programme and she is also a member of AGILE (Physiotherapists working with Older People).

Emily is able to provide holistic treatment at home to help you maximise your independence and reach your full potential following a range of setbacks such as hospital admission, post operatively and following a deterioration in all long term Neuro-disability conditions such as strokes, Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis.
